THE BAND
Back One Out es
una banda difícil de clasificar, ya que su sonido es muy particular y no se
centra en un estilo de música concreta. Siguen sobre todo las más grandes
bandas californianas como Lagwagon, Strung Out y Ataris. Cada canción que crea
la banda, tiene un sonido diferente con varias influencias. Eso hace que nunca
se sepa qué esperar de ellos.
Su música es única en parte debido a las melodías de voz, rodeado
de hermosos coros, y también por las características melodías básicas del bajo
y la guitarra, e incluso debido a un muy buen baterísta, que puede tocar de una
manera muy rápida y precisa.
It is a
band hard to categorize, because their sound is very particular and does not
own to only one kind of music. They follow above all the greatest Californian
bands such as Lagwagon, Strung Out and Ataris. Every song they create has a diferent
sound and diferent influences, you never know what to expect from them.
Their music
is unique partly because of the voice melodies, surrounded by beautiful
choruses, partly because of the distinctive basic melodies of bass and guitar
and even due to a really good drummer, who can play in a very fast and precise
way.
Entre abril y mayo de 2006 la banda grabó su primer CD, Helpless
(2006), que contiene 11 canciones, grabadas en los estudios West Link en Italia y masterizado en West West Side Music / Deko Music en
EE.UU. por Alan Douches (Fall Out Boy, Alkaline Trio, The Chemical
Brothers, Against Me, Atreyu, H2O, y muchos otros).
El álbum de debut salió en toda Europa bajo el sello de Ammonia Records, con la colaboración de
Nerdsound Records y UK Division Records, distribuído por Edel Italy.
Between
April and May 2006 the band recorded their firs CD, "Helpless",
containing 11 songs, recorded at “West Link” studios in Italy and mastered at
“West West Side Music / Deko music” in U.S.A by Alan Douches (Fall out boy,
Alkaline Trio, Chemical brothers, Against me, Atreyu, H2O and many others).
The debut
album has been out in all Europe under Ammonia Records, with the partnership of
Nerdsound Records and UK division

It Could Be Worth It (2012)
Con el disco en la mano, se meten de lleno en una gira con
Helpless Tour, tocando por toda Italia a lo largo de un año y
compartiendo escenario con bandas como Strung Out, Much the same, 7 Seconds,
The Downtown Struts, Tribute to Nothing, Mcrackins y muchas otras grandes
bandas italianas.
En 2010, con la entrada de Claudio como bajista y el paso de
Andrea a la guitarra, la banda comienza a trabajar en su segundo larga duración
Swallowed by future (2012), más duro que el melódico Helpless.
El 22 de mayo 2012, el álbum sale a la calle, totalmente autoproducido.
Después de varios conciertos, Claudio decidió tomar otro
camino y Luca se convirtió en el nuevo bajista de la banda.
El 31 de mayo 2013 La banda lanzó su tercer LP, It could be
worth it (2013).
Los sonidos recuerdan las melodías de Helpless,
pero muchas canciones son violentas, duras y densas. Es una mezcla de diferentes
géneros, influenciados por los nuevos sonidos y evoluciones.
With it in
hand, they hit the tour circuit with "Helpless Tour", playing all
across Italy over one year and sharing the stage with bands like Strung out,
Much the same, 7 Seconds, The Downtown Struts, Tribute to Nothing, Mcrackins
and many others great italian bands.
Starting
from 2010, with the entrance of Claudio as bass guitar player and the passage
of Andrea to play guitar, the band has started to work on their second full
length, "Swallowed by future", more hard than the melodic
"Helpless". On May 22nd 2012 the album has
been released, completely self-produced.
After
several gigs, Claudio decided to take a diferent road and Luca became the new
bassist of the band.
On May 31st
2013 The band released their third LP, "It could be worth it".
The sounds
remember the melodies of "Helpless" but many songs are violent, hard
and heavy. It's a mix of diferent genres, infuenced by the newest sounds and
evolutions.

¿Por qué el nombre de Black One Out?
Esta es la clásica pregunta
que esperamos. El nombre surgió del título de una canción de ‘Lagwagon’, aunque
para nosotros tiene un significado específico y nos conecta a un período
difícil que el grupo tuvo que superar, que fue seguido por un cambio en nuestra
formación.
Why the name Back One Out?
This is the classic question that we expected. The name came up from the
title of a song by 'Lagwagon', though for us has a specific meaning and connects
us to a difficult period that the group had to overcome, which was followed by
a change in our line ups.
La música del Back One Out me recuerda a la del punk californiano mezclado con el Hard Rock y el garaje de los años setenta y el metal de los años ochenta, y un poco de pop . Realmente, es una curiosa mezcla de estilos que podemos encontrar a otros más. ¿Qué ha motivado este sonido en Back One Out? ¿Cuáles son o han sido tus influencias más directas al hacer música?
Cada uno de nosotros les gustaban muchos estilos de música diferentes, todas las canciones que hemos creado tienen un sonido diferente y diferentes influencias.
Las primeras pruebas juntos (2001/2002) eran una mezcla de varios géneros y grupos (Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Muse, Green Day, Blink 182, Foo Fighters). De muchas bandas que nos gusta escuchar y que nos han influenciado, sin duda no hay que olvidar Strung Out, Lagwagon, Avenged Sevenfold, Jimmy Eat World, todos los grupos que nos dirigieron al género que actualmente ofrecemos.
The Music of Back One Out reminds me to the Californian Punk mixed with the Hard Rock and Garage of the seventies years and the Metal of early eighties, and little bit of Pop. Really, is a curious mixture of styles which we can find others more. What has motivated this sound in Back One Out? What are or have been your most direct influences when making music?
Each of us had very different musical background, every song we created has a different sound and different influences.
The first tests together (2001/2002) were a mix of various genres and groups (Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Muse, Green Day, Blink 182, Foo Fighters). From many bands that we like to hear and that have influenced us, surely we must not forget Strung Out, Lagwagon, Avenged sevenfold, Jimmy eat world, all groups that was directed us to the genre that we currently offer.
¿Por qué tituláis “It Could Be Worth It” a vuestro último disco?
"Podría valer la pena” (“It
could be worth it”) de continuar nuestra pasión común: la música. El año que
viene Back One Out cumple 10 años. También es una forma de vida para vivir sin
remordimientos y de cada acción y error cometido... "Podría valer la
pena" (“It could be worth it”)

to your last disc?
“It could be worth it” to continue our common passion: music. Next year
Back one out will be 10 years old. It is also a way of life to live without
regrets and every action and mistake comitted…..“It could be worth it”

nuestro directo queremos compartir nuestra música que es única, en parte debido
a las melodías de voz, rodeado de hermosos coros, por otro lado, por las
melodías distintivas básicas de bajo y guitarra, e incluso debido a un muy buen
baterista, que pueden tocar de una manera muy rápida y precisa. ¡Esperamos

offer in your live concert, and what do you hope from the Spanish public in
your shows?
Yes, this is our first time in
spain, we’re very excited!
In our live concert we want to
share with you our music that is unique partly because of the voice melodies,

the end of 2013 we’ll play some gigs in
Italy and we are planning a new european tour for 2014.

"Eastpak festival" delante de 4.000 personas.

situación económica actual es muy dura! Sobre todo en nuestro país.
